Appliance Rebate – Minnesota and Iowa Residents Go Green
The green trend has not only touched areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and New York — Minnesota and Iowa residents are jumping aboard as well. In fact, there has been an overwhelming response to appliance rebates that are being offered for Energy Star rated appliances.
As rebates launched in Minnesota and Iowa today (Monday), servers were overloaded and many could not connect to state-run websites. IT personnel are working on the tech issues, which should luckily be fixed by the morning.
I, personally, think this is big news. Aside from the monetary savings, people are realizing that saving the environment is important and purchasing energy efficient appliances will, in itself, preserve Planet Earth.
For everyone that is purchasing new, Energy Star appliances: thank you! I appreciate what you’re doing as will future generations.
