Geico Little Piggy Commercial: It Will ‘Wee’ Your Socks Off
Not to my surprise, Geico rolled out another commercial 2-3 weeks ago, which is creating quite a buzz in the social world and inspired me to yell Wee! out the window. The spot, appropriately named “Piggy,” puts a funny twist on an old nursery rhyme.
As a little edumucation, the nursery rhyme that includes the line “And this little piggy cried ‘Wee! Wee! Wee!’ all the way home.” was first published in London, England around the year 1760. It appeared in the book The Famous Tommy Thumb’s Little Story-Book. Did you know that? Neither did I until I checked Wikipedia.
