Apple's 'Ping' Social Network for Music

I hope all of you Social Media marketing professionals are just as excited as I am about Apple’s new social network for music — Ping. It’s a brand new social networking platform geared towards bringing music lovers together, and it also offers excellent Social Media marketing potential.

In the coming days, weeks and months I predict a new breed of Social Media marketers will rise to the surface and begin taking advantage of Ping. The main social networks — Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Myspace, etc. — now have a sibling that’s here to stay.

My suggestion to Social Media marketing consultants and companies around the world is to get on Ping right away and begin learning the ins and outs of it. What marketing benefits does it have? Are there linking opportunities for SEO? How much traffic/exposure can Ping generate? It’s important to find answers to these questions, and others, so you’re providing the best, most informed, effective suggestions to clients. I should share my research, but unfortunately I’d have to kill you or force you into Social Media slave labor. Muahahahah
