In one of my favorite commercials from Geico, a very serious question is asked: “Do people use smartphones to do dumb things?” It appears so.
One thing that makes this commercial a big hit, especially when it comes to squeezing the most out of advertising dollars, is the addition of an app. Geico’s new BroStache app, which was featured in the commercial, is an ingenious way to combine TV ads with social media and technology, thus improving the campaign’s effectiveness. The BroStache app will surely go viral; mark my word.
