I know many people think of Twitter and “Tweeting” as more of a Social Media marketing tool, but, lately, it has become an excellent SEO medium.
Google and Bing, the two most widely used search engines, are displaying Tweets in their search results, which began a few months back. Due to such, posting a message on Twitter will actually help with SEO as it eliminates the need for backlinks, indexing, etc. Simply post, have the post rank on the top of the first page almost immediately, and call it a day. Excellent tool for announcing special events, sales, company updates, etc.
But, keep in-mind, posting on Twitter does not eliminate the need for conventional SEO and you don’t want to be labeled a spammer. So don’t go too wild.
Good luck and I hope this article has been helpful.
Sincerely,
