In a smart marketing move that will greatly increase Apple’s customer base and influence in the mobile phone world, a deal was negotiated to give Verizon customers access to the ever so popular iPhone.

Verizon is currently making updates to their wireless network, which will allow for iPhone use. Yippie! Apple fans with Verizon wireless can now rejoice!

Aside from network updates, Apple is rumored to release a new, spruced-up iPhone. Being that I have owned each generation of iPhone, this is exciting news for me. Do I sense a 4G iPhone around the corner? You betcha!

The expected release date for the Verizon iPhone is around June 22, 2010.
