This morning I had a little birdy — a blue birdy — fly into my window and provide me with top-secret information as to why Twitter is having outages today and the “Follower” and “Following” count had disappeared. Okay, okay, okay… I’ll admit it: No cool blue birdy flew in my window with secret info, I simply jumped on Twitter’s own Twitter account to see what’s up.

According to Twitter, “We are experiencing site availability issues — additional latency and errors — this morning. We’re working to address these issues.”

I’m sure things will be back to normal soon, but until then sit tight. It’s not the end of the world. Well, for some social media marketers like myself it sure does seem like it lol.
