Question of the day: Are you a social media fanatic and have you found yourself Tweeting at holiday gatherings? If so, shame on you!

This year, unlike others, an unprecedented amount of social gurus will be Tweeting like animals during holiday parties. Technology has a firm grasp on the holiday season and shows no sign of letting up. Is this bad? Will friends, family and co-workers forgive you?

Even though I’m attached to my iPhone like white on rice, I feel there’s a time and place for everything. If you’re spending time with people you care about, put the phone down for a little while. Social media isn’t going away, it’s available 24/7, so take your time, enjoy the holiday season, and relax.

Moral of the story: Apple cider is amazing and holiday food makes the world a better place. Be safe and enjoy yourself!
