It’s official! No, I’m not getting married, but — even better — Verizon is partnering with Apple to launch an iPhone on its network. (and the crowd cheers)
Verizon customers, including many friends of mine, have complained about loving the iPhone but not wanting to switch wireless carriers to achieve mobile computing zen. This is understandable, though will soon become a thing of the past.
After choreographing a swanky, invitation-only red carpet event at the Lincoln Center in New York City, Verizon is expected to release the iPhone sometime next week. The time has finally come.
I am sitting on the edge of my chair waiting to see the first Verizon/Apple commercial, and my 6th advertising sense says it’s on the way. We shall see.
