Brace yourselves for a Twitter marketing failure of epic proportions. A mistake that’s so undeniably tragic, not even Paula Deen would be nice.
The other day I was researching a large corporation that manufactures trucks and went to their Twitter account only to find they had protected their Tweets. Why would any multi-million dollar company have a Twitter account and protect their Tweets? Insanity I tell you.
CMOs need to implement a process where everything is double checked as to avoid the above-mentioned issue along with typos, questionable Tweets, irrelevant blog posts, and the list goes on.
Get it together people…this is the time.
