The magical search engine we all know as Google is becoming more AI-centric by the day to deliver the best user experiences and it’s both exciting and intriguing to see the ways the MUM algorithm is affecting search results.
In particular, based on our research, over the past week Google is now displaying not just one Featured Snippet but sometimes two for searches, which makes total sense from an analytics perspective: Why show only one on top that inherently builds a monopoly and skews the metrics whereas you can show multiple results with a more Darwinian approach.
From being innovators in the early days of SEO before expanding into technology then securing a utility patent on our deep learning (AI) ecosystem, we see where Featured Snippets are headed and the future of Google search algorithms as a whole.
