As kids we can all remember the magical moments in our lives when we saw someone pull a rabbit out of their hat, ride a bicycle into outer space (shout out to ET) and all of the other special moments that open our minds to what’s truly possible.
Fast-forward to today, it’s interesting to see how innovations like ChatGPT are inspiring the youngest generations to think about AI, dig into how it works, and ultimately plan their futures around an AI-centric world that’s on the horizon.
Looking at ChatGPT in particular, especially as it relates to writing blog posts using the tech, the mindset around something easy producing big results is flawed in many ways.
In the movie A League of Their Own, Tom Hanks said it best: “It’s supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it.”
Going back to the main point as to whether you should use ChatGPT to write blog posts for your company, the simple answer is no. Blog writing has now become easy though that doesn’t mean the content you’re delivering is the best, and Google/others can detect what’s generated organically vs using AI.
The point is, results generated by ChatGPT as well as other AI platforms (Google’s Bard, etc.) are similar to Lego blocks falling into place where data continues to funnel in but making sense of everything happening in the moment is what’s most imperative.
And through that intimate understanding of what’s happening on the ground you can create big waves.
