There are times in life when technology has the power to truly change the world and make it a better place which is the ultimate goal, though on the flip side looking at human behaviors over hundreds of years there’s a downside where many times people gravitate towards the path of least resistance versus what’s actually the best in the end.
Before we dig into the future, it’s important to note that this post is only a snapshot of what’s on the horizon, though it’s critical for companies/people to start thinking about these principles now before they spiral out of control versus trying to navigate random adventures when they knock on the front door and you don’t know how to answer.
As one example: The misconception of ChatGPT where for a short period of time people applied an almost Houdini-esque value to the results and expected magic in the end – but that didn’t happen – at least not yet. And if things were that easy everyone would do it and we would all be billionaires.
Similarly, look at the Bitcoin craze, NFTs and other shiny objects that might have appeared on your radar before. These previous trends just aren’t performing the same in 2024, and if you’re reading this blog post now: When was the last time you saw NFTs mentioned in the news, on social media or anywhere else? Exactly.
The moral of the story is that AI will continue to play a key role in both the search engine optimization (SEO) and social media while also powering many other facets of our daily lives.
