Going back hundreds if not thousands of years, processes have been flawed and because of that innovations were made ranging from the Industrial Revolution to the AI/tech world today – and continuing to listen, learn then adapt is absolutely critical to push humanity forward.
Thinking back to the old days and one of the best movies ever, the scene from “The Great Outdoors” (1988) featuring John Candy where he confronted a “big bear” before it broke down the front door is indicative of the importance in seeing things before they hit the front door. This can be social media issues around businesses, early indicators that can cause major fluctuations in the stock market and so much more.
At the same time, how do you get the best, most accurate/current social media data along with other information like breaking news from news major outlets, what’s appearing on TV, etc. then make sense of everything to understand what you and others are seeing on a large scale? And as a single human that’s impossible and where tech comes into the picture.
The main point is: There’s a reason why you buy a new Apple product that’s amazing (iPhone, MacBook Pro, etc.) because you know it’s going to work and believe in their products being the best on the market. Aside from that, they make everything easy on customers, especially early adopters that made the brand/company what it is today.
But what’s the easy approach to understanding the world now? We’re still trying to figure that out.
