I’m a true believer in the idea of doing things once and doing them right, and I am here to announce that Romney Tripp, Founder of RWT Design and Construction, has impressed me more than I can possibly explain in this post.
Tonight I have decided to go on a rant about advertising agency rankings and how they are — almost always — calculated based on revenue not actual performance. This is a failure of grandeur proportions, especially since most ad agencies are shifting to interactive marketing mediums (banner ads, social media, SEO, etc.) and one’s ability to perform in the digital arena is all that really matters in this day and age.
I’ve been monitoring social trends throughout the day (as usual) and the launch of Google Voice is creating quite a buzz, which I’m happy about. I have been testing Google Voice for close to a year now, and wrote two articles on the platform in October of 2009: Google Voice Critique – Initial Thoughts and Google Voice Critique Part 2 – Custom Greetings. Finally the time has come to showcase what this bad boy is all about.
From the looks of it, AOL might actually be making a comeback, which none of us would have expected. The only good thing AOL has put out in recent years is AIM updates, and I’m glad to see they’re getting back into the swing of things.
Yes, it’s officially going down: A white iPhone 4 is in the works. Woo hoo!
Hold on to your seats and prepare for liftoff: Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is finally here! There is a veil of secrecy over what exactly Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs will showcase in his keynote speech (as always), though I’m sure it will be super cool and I’m excited.
