I guess no matter how old I get, I’ll always appreciate a good fart joke. I mean come on, we have to laugh some things off.
The other day I was watching TV and came across Gas-X’s interview commercial, which is quite funny. It goes a little something like this:
- Interviewer: “Impressive resume. I see you’re flatulent in three languages, graduated top of your gas.”
- Narrator: “Got gas on your mind?”
- Assistant: “Your son Rip is on line toot.”
For a 15-second ad spot, it gets the job done by turning something repulsive into a thing we can all laugh about. Nice work Gas-X! And, even though I enjoy your advertising, I hopefully will not need your products (fingers crossed).
