New York City, one of my absolute favorite places in the world. A hustling, bustling mixing pot of food, cultures, businesses, and just about everything else one can imagine. Good ole’ New York City — my second love.
My family lived in New york City in the 1940’s/1950’s, in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and surrounding areas. Then, when my parents were young, they moved to the suburbs — Rockland County and Westchester County. Eventually, my parents got married and moved to Los Angeles, CA where I was born. Ever since I was young, I would visit my family in New York (grandparents, cousins, etc.) at least 2-3 times per year, and really got a feel for the state. Not only did a get a feel for it, I fell in love with it.
