Running on extremely low fuel and a full tank of determination, Dario Franchitti sped past the finish line to take first place at the Indianapolis 500 today. Kudos!
Unfortunately, Mike Conway suffered a crash during lap 199 that sent his car flying through the air like a paper airplane, which had me on the edge of my chair. Fortunately, Conway only suffered a broken leg and will be okay. When I saw the accident I was afraid it was much worse.
Congrats to Dario Franchitti and I hope Mike Conway gets well soon.
