There’s nothing better than waking up at the crack of dawn and schmearing some Philadelphia Cream Cheese on a warm, toasty bagel. Kraft’s marketing strategy has positioned the product as the creme de la creme of cream cheeses (pun intended), and as a connoisseur of deliciousness I can safely say they’re telling the truth.
Recently I was watching TV and noticed a Blue Moon-esque commercial from Philadelphia Cream Cheese which shows how it takes 6 days to make a block of creamy goodness. The spot reminds me of Blue Moon’s very popular commercial depicting the making of their beer in an animated, artistic fashion.
The “6 Days to Delicious” commercial is a big success because it delivers exactly what consumers are demanding from food companies nowadays: transparency. People are becoming more and more conscious about what they eat and showing the making of Philadelphia Cream Cheese in a creative, catchy way is simply ingenious.
