We are living in a world of devices that are mainly powered by batteries and going back to the old school marketing days it’s interesting to see how both Duracell and Energizer were the backbone/power behind everything and eventually came out on top in the end. Though what makes them special and what battery brand do most people choose now?

We have guided a variety of companies in this space and looking at recent studies that include both Duracell and Energizer, it’s interesting to see how both win in their own ways while always performing at the highest level.

After analyzing hundreds of blogs/reviews around batteries over the past few years along with thousands of social media posts it’s clear that there are 2 winners: Duracell/Energizer while generic brands usually fail, including Amazon Basics batteries which have run into some issues.

What brand of batteries lasts the longest?
This is a great question and why we went down this path, and on the surface we can safely say both Energizer and Duracell batteries last the longest and are the safest bet when you have to rely on them (powering communications, etc.).

Which is better: Duracell or Energizer batteries?
This has been an ongoing debate for 20 years or more, and it’s like comparing Ferrari to Lamborghini where shaving a fraction of a second off of lap times equates to a win based on years of research/tech/dedication. At the same time, others just can’t compete and end up fading away.
