Russian Launch Keys for Spaceship Featured on Pawn Stars
I was watching Pawn Stars a few hours ago and was surprised to see Russian launch keys being featured. How cool is that?! The keys were initially thought to have been used for launching Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs), but it turns out they were actually used for launching spacecraft.
The gentleman selling the keys requested $10,000, but was shutdown and Rick offered nothing close to that amount. I mean, it’s one cool piece to have, but it does all come down to the buyer, and not many people are willing to fork over $10k for Russian launch keys.
Marketing Suggestions
In this particular situation, something which has never happened before, my marketing suggestion is to do nothing at all. The last thing you want is a group of suited and booted guys from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service showing up at your door. Or, worst case scenario, you won’t hear them coming till it’s all over – similar to Chuck Norris.
Sincerely,

There is much more to the story. I’m the guy that took the keys into the pawn stars shop. My name is Steve Ririe and I’m Chairman of the Silent Heroes of the Cold War Memorial Committee. If you google “Silent Heroes of the Cold War” and look at our website I have posted the full story about the keys. For those that are interested it may be worth reading. I am also happy to answer any questions and my contact information is on the Silent Heroes website.
