This Saturday just happened to be my birthday, and a bunch of friends were asking me where I wanted to go.. I thought about it for a few days and decided I’d love to go hiking, to a cool spot, and simply get out of Los Angeles (proper) for a day. We drove about 15-minutes from my house, up the Pacific Coast Highway, and made a right turn on Topanga Canyon. From that point forward, the directions will have to be a mystery. I could tell you, but I’d have to kill you. =)~
While on the hike, I brought my Voltaic Generator solar bag, which ended up being a lifesaver (again). My friend Jack, good ole’ Jack-a-mundo, left his car charger in another friend’s car and his phone was totally dead — wouldn’t turn on — RIP. After a strenuous hike, carrying a camera, tri-pod and backpack with water and lenses, we finally arrived at our destination. To my surpise, the 150+ photos and 10+ videos I took on the way to the grand finale (lookout spot) killed my camera battery. I took a break to re-charge my camera battery and myself, then filmed another 5 or so videos and took another 100+ photos.
I hope you enjoy the photos and videos! There will be much more to come, so check back soon.
Sincerely,
Aaron Schoenberger
