Photos | Franklin Canyon Park/Reservoir in Beverly Hills Lifestyle | October 26, 2009 | By The Brainchild Group

This past Saturday I took a short, scenic hike at Franklin Canyon Park (also Franklin Canyon Reservoir) in Beverly Hills with my friends Aric and Nanook (Aric’s dog), which was awesome! And yes, I consider Aric’s dog Nanook my friend — he’s my sidekick.

The Franklin Canyon Reservoir was built in 1982 of compacted earth, though I doubt it’s functional today. It’s more overgrown with plants and serves more as a park rather than a water supply. In my opinion, it’s much cooler now.

Please find a few photos of the park, Aric and Nanook below. Enjoy!

note: photos shot on Nikon D90
