Tonight I have decided to come clean with everyone and divulge a secret of mine: I’m a lobster fanatic/connoisseur and dream about lobster on a regular basis. Lobster and butter, lobster and pasta, lobster and sushi, lobster and my old leather shoes. I’ll eat lobster with anything.

Running on extremely low fuel and a full tank of determination, Dario Franchitti sped past the finish line to take first place at the Indianapolis 500 today. Kudos!

I’m a big foodie and avid cook as many of you blog followers know, and of all foods I have to say BBQ is my absolute favorite. There’s just something relaxing and surreal about enjoying the outdoors while meat and vegetables slowly cook over a crackling fire. Reminds me of YMCA camp when I was a kid, or the time I stayed at a “dude ranch” in Wyoming.

The time has come for my baby – Penelope – to receive an engine rebuild, which is quite exciting. She’s a 1999 Mustang Cobra, with only 53,000 miles on the clock, and I will be upgrading to a forged short block from Muscle Motors Performance (MMP) and will have it installed by my good friend Danny at Ghost Motorsports.

A few nights ago my ex-girlfriend Janay and I decided to dine at Melisse in Santa Monica to celebrate her birthday. Given the restaurant’s consistently high ratings I knew we were in for a gastronomic journey.
