As many of you know, I’m a big foodie — a very big foodie. I love trying new food, eating at good restaurants and providing my critiques, which unfortunately don’t happen too often. It takes something very special for me to put my work (running The Brainchild Group) aside to write a review, but when it comes to Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ I just can’t resist.

The time has come: a brilliant team of MIT engineers worked together to build a car that can also — wait for it — fly! The Transition, as it was named, began development in 2006 and after years of hard work the FAA has finally stamped the vehicle with its approval.

Tesla Motors has not only placed itself in the history books for creating the first production electric vehicle to be manufactured/sold in North America and Europe, it has become only the second American car company to make an initial public offering.

Last weekend I went on a little adventure with Jon Rowen from Camtrol, who introduced me to a tucked away, commonly unknown park in Agoura Hills: Paramount Ranch. I’ve been to most of the parks/trails in Los Angeles, and was surprised I had not heard of Paramount Ranch. I guess we learn new things everyday, ey?

Tonight, while working on a client’s social media campaign, I decided to grab my laptop, plop down on the couch, and watch Josh Fox’s brilliant documentary “GASLAND” on HBO. So much for work, I was immediately enthused by the film and had to put my computer to sleep — I just couldn’t help it.
