To begin this article, I must say that I am, and always have been, a seafood fanatic. When I was very young my favorite dish was “Oysters Rockefeller” and to this day I crave seafood on a minutely basis. Lobster, crab, scallops, shrimp, fatty tuna, sea urchin, oh my! Aside from my cat (Shrimpy) seafood is my best friend.

I’m a big foodie and avid cook as many of you blog followers know, and of all foods I have to say BBQ is my absolute favorite. There’s just something relaxing and surreal about enjoying the outdoors while meat and vegetables slowly cook over a crackling fire. Reminds me of YMCA camp when I was a kid, or the time I stayed at a “dude ranch” in Wyoming.

A global event originally created by the WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, Earth Hour asks homes and businesses to turn off non-essential electronics for one hour to raise awareness for the need to take action against negative climate changes. Simply said, we need to preserve Mother Earth.

The time has come for my baby – Penelope – to receive an engine rebuild, which is quite exciting. She’s a 1999 Mustang Cobra, with only 53,000 miles on the clock, and I will be upgrading to a forged short block from Muscle Motors Performance (MMP) and will have it installed by my good friend Danny at Ghost Motorsports.

The time has finally come: Ford unveiled their awesome new police car, which sports a variety of features including increased power, better safety ratings, cool electronics and an eco-friendly engine. Not only does this car step up the game and provide law enforcement with an edge, it will reduce the carbon footprint of thousands of police vehicles on the road everyday.

A few nights ago my ex-girlfriend Janay and I decided to dine at Melisse in Santa Monica to celebrate her birthday. Given the restaurant’s consistently high ratings I knew we were in for a gastronomic journey. Oh, and what a journey it was.
